HOW TO JOIN THE MARKET

Step A: CREATE A VENDOR PROFILE ON FARMSPREAD

Step A3: Click: Apply to Market


Step A4: Click LOGIN

Step A5: Click REGISTER

 

Step A6: Register - If you have a Facebook account for your farm or a Google account that you already use for your farm, these will be the easier ways for you to continually access your Farmspread Account.

 

Step A7: Click CREATE VENDOR create your vendor profile on Farmspread. VIDEO INSTRUCTIONS: https://vimeo.com/285173123. We encourage you to upload photos of your products and your logo and to have at least a paragraph describing your production practices. Your vendor profile with Farmspread has a ton of add-on options for you including online pre-sales of your products directly to customers. The ability for them to pay online. Set-up and manage your own CSA, Roadside stand, or market. At this time, we just need you to create the bare bones profile. Step B: APPLY TO MARKET

The button will be small and at the very bottom of the page.

You'll need to select Tuscaloosa River Market. The questions on this application are specific to your selling experience at the River Market. You'll need to upload your growers permit, vehicle insurance, and if applicable business licenses.

Step C: APPLY TO 2020 SEASON

This final section is regarding the dates that you plan to vend. You'll see a calendar and should select all of the dates that you would like to come.

Once we receive your application, we will review it and either accept, deny, or waitlist your application. We will then review the dates that you'd like to attend and make as many stall assignments as possible at that time.

 

Step C2: After you've been accepted to the market and spots have been assigned you'll need to pay the $50 membership fee. You can do this online through Farmspread or bring cash or check to us at the River Market. Each week you'll need to respond to an email asking you to "Check-in" which simply means that you're verifying that you will still actually attend a market that you've previously indicated that you plan to attend. This step is very important. It allows our market managers to assign all available booths giving everyone an opportunity to earn profits. You can also use this online interaction to pay for your $10 booth fee. If you'd rather pay be cash you can do so during the market when you vend.
