3 Tuscaloosa area farmers markets open this month

TUSCALOOSA, Alabama -- Three Tuscaloosa area farmers markets will open over the next two weeks.
The Tuscaloosa River Market, a new $3 million riverfront facility dedicated last week, will begin hosting a trial run of farmers markets on April 3, with a grand opening set for May 5. The market sales will be open from 7 a.m. to noon on Tuesday and Saturday mornings.
