Tuscaloosa River Market celebrating Cinco de Mayo at grand opening

TUSCALOOSA, Alabama -- The Tuscaloosa River Market will host a Cinco de Mayo celebration for its Saturday grand opening.
The grand opening of the $3 million facility comes about five weeks since its March dedication by city officials. The first farmers market was held on April 3.
The event, to be held from 7 a.m. to 1 p.m., will feature food, activities for children, a farmers' salsa competition and live music.
